At launch, we are only allowing deposits on Australian Dollar (AUD) onto the CloudTechX Wallet

  • You can deposit fiat AUD in two different ways:
  • You can choose to bank transfer into the provided BSB and account number; or
  • You can instantly transfer money using the automatically generated PayID all within the app

What cryptocurrency can I deposit on the app?
At launch, we are only offering support for Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and Tether (USDT)

How can I deposit cryptocurrencies on the app?
In order to deposit cryptocurrencies on the app, follow these steps:

  • Click the deposit button and select the specific cryptocurrency you want to import
  • Be careful of the deposit network as it has to be the same as the withdrawal platform
  • Copy the deposit address and paste it on the withdrawal platform, and send your desired amount
  • Wait for a few minutes and refresh to see the funds appear on your wallet, alternatively you will also receive a notification when deposits arrive.

Withdrawing fiat/cryptocurrency

  • What fiat currency can I withdraw on the app?
At launch, we are supporting Australian Dollar (AUD) withdrawals on the app.
  • How can I withdraw fiat into my account on the app?
  • You can withdraw AUD from the wallet by connecting your bank account
  • Select the withdraw button, select AUD and withdraw to your pre-set bank account on the app.
  • What cryptocurrency can I withdraw on the app?
    You are able to withdraw all the available crypto currencies on the app; Bitcoin, Ether and Tether
  • How can I withdraw cryptocurrencies on the app?
In order to withdraw cryptocurrencies on the app, follow these steps:
  • Click the withdraw button and select the specific cryptocurrency you want to export
  • Be careful of the withdrawal network as it has to be the same as the platform receiving the funds
  • Copy the deposit address from the receiving platform and paste it on to the app, and select your desired amount
  • Wait for a few minutes and refresh to see the funds withdrawn from your wallet, alternatively you will also receive a notification when withdrawals are.

  • What trading pairs are available on the app?
    The trading pairs available on CloudTechX are:
  • USDT/AUD
  • BTC/USDT

  • How can I exchange one cryptocurrency to the other on the app?
  • On the CloudTechX Wallet you can only exchange from AUD to USDT and from USDT to AUD
  • In order to receive AUD for any other cryptocurrency offered (BTC and ETH), these have to be converted into USDT first before withdrawing.

  • Peer to Peer trading (P2P), also known as C2C (Customer-to-Customer) is a method of trading where users buy or sell crypto currencies on a P2P marketplace.

I'm not receiving emails from CobWeb Pay?
Firstly, please make sure you are logged in to the email address registered for your CobWeb Pay account. Then, attempt searching for the email in your spam or junk folder. If you don’t find the email even after trying, kindly contact our support team at customerservice@cobwebpay.com
How can I migrate my email or phone number?
Currently, there are two options available to assist you in changing your phone number or email address:

1. Delete your current account and re-register for a new account using your preferred phone number or email address. The verification process is expected to take approximately 1-3 business working days to complete. Please note that once deleted, the used email address and mobile number cannot be registered again.

2. Send your request to change the email or phone number to customerservice@cobwebpay.com from your old email. We may request supporting documents for identification verification. This process is estimated to take around 10-15 business working days to complete.
How can I view my assets?
Upon logging into the CobWeb Pay application, you will be brought to the home page of the application. Under the assets section, you will see all available assets.
How can I view transaction history?
Upon logging into the CobWeb Pay application, you will be brought to the home page of the application. Scroll down and you will see the activities listing- you will see all your recent transactions there.
How can I unlock my account?
In such a situation, if you can still access the application, under your profile tab, click on Contact Us and let us know the situation encountered. Alternatively, contact our support team at customerservice@cobwebpay.com.
Dealing with a frozen account due to "risk"
With security and compliance prioritised, if we suspect any transactions, our system will immediately freeze the account to protect the funds within. It might also be due to transferring of fiat currency to a bank account with a name which does not match the name of the owner of the CobWeb Pay account.

When that happens, if you can still access the application, under your profile tab, click on Contact Us and let us know the situation encountered. Alternatively, contact our support team at customerservice@cobwebpay.com
How to disable my CobWeb Pay account?
Upon logging into the CobWeb Pay application, you will be brought to the home page of the application. At the bottom bar, click to access your profile tab. You will see the option “Manage Account”. Click on it and you will see option to “Delete account”. Follow the steps mentioned on screen to confirm deleting the account. Contact the support team at customerservice@cobwebpay.com if you need further assistance on it.
How to delete my CobWeb Pay account?
You can delete your account by following these steps:

1. Select "User Profile" located in the bottom right corner of the CobWeb Pay application.
2. Select "Account Settings"
3. Select "Delete Account"
4. To confirm, please type "delete my account" and select "Delete Account"
5. Key in your 6-digit fund password and click the "Submit" button.
How to obtain fiat and/or crypto deposit addresses on CobWeb Pay?
Follow the steps below to obtain the address for your deposit.

1. Login to your Cobweb Pay Wallet
2. On the home page, you will see a list of supported assets
3. Please select the currency you require
4. Click on Deposit. The deposit address will be provided to you.

Please note that it may take approximately 5 minutes for the deposit address to appear after the first login. Deposit addresses will only be assigned for KYC/KYB clients.

How to protect my CobWeb Pay account security?

Under the profile tab in the applications, you will find the security centre. Bind an email, mobile phone number and setup Google authenticator. These will greatly increase the security of your account. By default, you are required to set the login password and fund password. Ensure to set a strong password and not disclose it to anyone. The combination of security measures in the application will keep your account safe.

How to complete personal identity verification?

Under the profile tab in the applications, you will find the Account Verification Section.
User must submit two documents, either passport/ driver's license / government-issued ID card to complete the personal identity verification.

How to complete the business identity verification?

You will be required to submit the following:

  • Company Information
  • Company Documents
  • Director’s Information
  • Director’s Government-issued ID
Personal verification not approved?

There could be various reasons why verification could not be completed after documents are submitted. Kindly contact our customer support team from the application’s “contact us” or chat feature and we will guide you on what’s next.

Business verification not approved?

Time required for identity verification?

Most identity verification will be completed within three working days.

KYC related issue

If you are unable to upload the files required for KYC authentication, please confirm whether the mobile phone settings have enabled access to photos. If access was disabled, please enable and try uploading your documents once again.

To deposit AUD, under the wallet, click on “Australian Dollar”. Then, click on “Deposit” and you will find the Pay ID, BSB number and account number necessary to complete your transaction. Kindly take note that inline with AML/CTF laws, deposits are only accepted from bank account that is the same name as the account you have verified on the CobWeb Pay application.To deposit Tether, Ether or Bitcoin, select the desired cryptocurrency under your wallet and click on “Deposit”. Confirm the network used and the QR code / address will be displayed for your further action to deposit the asset in.

To withdraw AUD, under the wallet, click on “Australian Dollar”. Then, click on “Withdraw” and add your Australian bank account. Then, input the withdrawal amount and complete the withdrawal accordingly.

You may scan the withdrawal destination  or input the address in provided column. Input the withdrawal amount and complete the withdrawal accordingly.

Trading Guide

How to trade CNY for foreign currencies?
Go to the P2P tab in the application, which is the third option on the bottom bar. At the moment, you can only trade RMB for AUD on the application. Other currencies will be on demand through our customer support until features enable in the applications in the near future.
How to trade using Tether (USDT)?
There are two ways to trade using USDT. First method will be to exchange. In the application, you will see Tether listed under your wallet. Click on Tether. Then click on Exchange and you will be able to exchange it to AUD, Ether and Bitcoin. The second method will be to trade USDT in the P2P  page of the application, whether on existing ads or posting your own ad to trade.
How to exchange between different cryptocurrencies in the wallet?
In the application, you will see Tether, Ether and Bitcoin listed under your wallet. Click on any asset you wish to exchange. Then click on the “Exchange” option and you will be able to exchange it to another supported and desired cryptocurrency.
What are market orders and limit orders?
A market order is an instruction to buy or sell an asset immediately at a fixed price. A limit order is an instruction to buy or sell only at a price specified, and in CobWeb Pay, it refers to the floating price nature and that make reference based on the price % difference to the market price.

How can I sell cryptocurrency on the CobWeb Pay P2P Marketplace?
You can sell cryptocurrency on the CobWeb Pay P2P Marketplace by clicking “Sell” on any of the available ad (not locked) on the P2P marketplace after selecting which cryptocurrency to sell and which Fiat currency to receive.
What are the specific methods of payment?
Payment can be through available funds on your associated wallet or by bank transfer, depending on the terms set by the merchant.
Why do I need a preferred payment method?
A preferred payment method is required to ensure seamless transfers from your account for any purchase your making- rather than having to pick between bank transfer or wallet funds every time.
What are the transaction fees on the CobWeb Pay P2P marketplace?
Currently the P2P marketplace has zero (0) fees. When there are changes, we will publish the rates, committing to set a competitive rate for the benefit of users.

Enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Under the profile tab in the applications, you will find the security centre. Bind an email and/or bind mobile phone number and/or setup Google authenticator and set a fund password. Then, under the account security centre, you will be able to toggle which of the following to use as your two-factor authentication.
How to use or reset Google two-factor authentication?
Under the profile tab in the applications, you will find the security centre.

Access the security centre and you will be able to add Google two-factor authentication. You will be required to verify yourself prior given the QR code or Backup Key to setup in Google Authenticator.
Adding phone number or email to multi-factor authentication
Under the profile tab in the applications, you will find the security centre.
Access the security centre and you will be able to add your email address and/or bind mobile phone number to the account to use for two-factor authentication.
How to reset password and important considerations?
To reset your login password or fund password, under the profile tab in the applications, you will find the security centre.

Access the security centre and you will see the option of Fund Password and Login Password. Select which you desire to change and you will be required to key in your current password before entering the new password. Then, click confirm to complete the password change.
Forgot password
During login, click on “forget password” and choose mobile phone or email address, depending on which you have used to register your account. Then click on “Get code” to and key in the temporary code sent to your mobile phone or email address. Complete the steps accordingly to reset your password.
